A 3T MR that cares for ALL
uMR Astra

Comfort, complexity, and clinical challenges have long been topics in MR devices. It is difficult to systematically address these issues solely through fragmented comfort improvements and AI innovations.
Taking 「care」 as the core driving force of design, uMR Astra creates comprehensive care experiences for different roles with a new generation of RF design and clustered AI technologies that empowers the whole process and all scenarios.

Care for Patients

Comfort is the most intuitive criterion for patients to evaluate an MR scanning experience. The ultimate proactive patient care should be a full-sensory comfort design: Astra-filled bore for vision, coils and cushions for touching, and silent scanning for hearing – that is, a sight that calms the heart, a touch that warms the soul, a sound that sooths the mind. uMR Astra delivers a serene experience for patients.

Full-Range Multi-Size SuperFlex Coils

uMR Astra has expanded the SuperFlex family to 9 members. Featuring 10+ breakthrough technological innovations, the SuperFlex Coils on uMR Astra come in a variety of sizes and shapes, all with significantly high coil density, and thus show prominent SNR increase on images. These coils deliver excellent adaptability and enhanced patient comfort, making them ideal for a wide range of clinical applications.

With a 92.0×61.6 cm² size with no effective area limitation, SuperFlex Whole Body – 48 provides large scanning coverage for various body types, from thorax to abdomen and pelvis. This enables efficient one-stop large-scale imaging, delivering comprehensive anatomical information for patients and doctors.

With great progress on decoupling technology, UHD SuperFlex Small – 24 achieves a coil density of 229 elements/m², delivering a significant improvement in image SNR over previous generations.

Traditional shoulder coils are mostly constructed with rigid components, leading to poor fixation on varied body contours and compromised image quality. Shoulder Coil – 24 on uMR Astra features a wearable design with exceptional adaptability, achieving superior patient comfort and outstanding image quality.

Featuring a unique soft, lightweight shawl-like design, UHD SuperFlex Neck & Chest – 24 ensures exceptional comfort during thoracic and vascular scans. It also enables efficient one-stop head-carotid-aorta imaging for comprehensive vascular screening and evaluation.

Care for Technicians

uAIFI platform has achieved proactive care and self-evolution. The AI workflow empowered by uAIFI on uMR Astra is now available on more completed process and clinical scenarios than ever. With the integration of AI workflow and upgraded coil workflow design, uMR Astra provides a seamless operating experience from start to finish, supporting a far wider range of clinical scenarios, and empowering daily high-throughput scanning work.

Full-Process AI Workflow Tailored for Diverse Clinical Scenarios
uMR Astra marks a new era of self-revolution for the uAIFI platform. Featuring an end-to-end AI workflow, uMR Astra empowers technicians across diverse clinical scenarios, streamlining operations, reducing scan time, and addressing a full spectrum of clinical and technical requirements.

uVision is a 3D camera that recognizes patient anatomy. It enables a one-click or even 0-click table-in workflow on 17 main body regions and diverse specialized scenarios, while traditionally the process requires typically more than 6 keystrokes.

With a unique dual-source phased-array millimeter-wave radar replacing the binding VSM, EasySense is able to provide stable and precise gating signal via a contactless design, streamlining patient preparation while enhancing patient comfort.

Although uncommon, specialized clinical scenarios should not be overlooked. EasyScan now covers 40 distinct body parts, supporting around 98% clinical scenarios. It transforms complex positioning protocols into a simple one-click operation and a 15-second scan.

Technicians typically perform around 100 clicks to crop a basic vascular MIP image following an MRA scan. With the unique EasyCrop AI feature, uMR Astra has simplified this process to a button-free automated results with 0 time delay.
