UIH Technologies L.L.C. is the Houston-based manufacturing organization for Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd. in the North America. We are building an organization of highly-motivated, team-oriented individuals to introduce a new portfolio of innovative imaging products to the USA market. We are a start-up organization that is building from the ground up with first employees coming on board in Q4 of 2018. United Imaging Healthcare develops and produces a full portfolio of advanced medical products covering the entire process of imaging diagnosis and treatment, and offers innovative medical IT solutions. The broad portfolio of innovative products has shown strong growth in China and other parts of Asia. It is our goal to build an organization of people committed to thinking creatively, and acting with the primary goal of delighting healthcare customers in the Americas region, while helping those customers to improve patient loyalty, quality of care and operational efficiency.

 
Main Responsibilities

1. Identify local laws and regulations related to EHS, and ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety;

2. Establish EHS management system, and provide the needed training;

3. Organize the environment, occupation, safety check to aggressively reduce accident and injuries, drive the corrective actions to make the improvement;

4. Implement and lead safety committee to increase levels of safety performance;

5. Internal report to management and related functions , escalate to management if necessary;

6. Develop and maintain excellent local and state agency relationships;

7. Perform associated and other duties as required.

 
Qualification Requirements

1. Experience in Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or related field.ISO14000,ISO18000 experience is needed;

2. 3 year experience leading environmental and safety compliance programs in a manufacturing environment;

3. Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment;

4. Demonstrated knowledge of EHS and government regulations;

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills;

6. Team player with strong interpersonal skills;

7. Good communication skills with internal and external parties.
